Why prosthetic support matters
Without a prosthesis, the joints that remain have to compensate for the limb that is gone. That wear and tear prematurely ages your pet and can increase pain. A well-fitted prosthesis spreads the load the way the body was designed to carry it.

Safety
Every dog is different. A prosthesis should never be considered a one-size-fits-all device.
Our process emphasizes proper assessment, individualized design, appropriate materials, a secure fit and gradual adaptation. Veterinary evaluation and involvement is especially important when determining whether a prosthesis is appropriate for each dog.
A prosthesis that does not fit correctly can cause pressure points, rubbing, skin irritation, pain, instability or other complications. Dogs should be monitored closely during introduction and use.
