Pet Prosthetics uses lidar and photogrammetry to measure the limb that needs help. There is no anesthetizing your pet, no casting the limb, and no recovery time from the scan.
A veterinarian examines and assesses your dog
The vet determines whether a prosthesis is appropriate and which kind will work best. Veterinary involvement is essential at this stage.
The limb is scanned
Photogrammetry and lidar accurately measure the limb for the new prosthesis in a matter of minutes. No anesthesia and no casting.
A robotics engineer builds the prosthesis
The scan file is sent to a robotics engineer who creates the prosthesis and returns it to the vet.
The prosthesis is fitted
With the help of a veterinarian, the prosthesis is fitted to your dog.
Your dog learns to use it at a rehabilitation facility
Once your dog becomes acclimated to the prosthesis, it will enjoy restored mobility, increased longevity and wellbeing.
The scan is free if you decide not to move forward. A cost estimate is given after the limb is scanned, because every patient's needs are different.
