Where your dog learns to trust the new limb

All dogs fitted with a prosthesis need rehabilitation to learn how to use the hardware. We collaborate with North GA Veterinary Specialists, whose state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility has two therapists to work with your pet.

To set up a rehabilitation appointment, call North GA Veterinary Specialists. The rehab facility's own website is coming soon.

Why rehab is part of every fitting

A prosthesis changes how a dog stands, balances and moves. Rehabilitation teaches the dog to walk comfortably and balance on the new device, and gives the therapists a chance to spot rubbing or pressure points early, while the fit can still be adjusted.

Once your dog becomes acclimated to the prosthesis, it will enjoy restored mobility, increased longevity and wellbeing.
